Post-Cinematic Timeline

The events of the Post-Cinematic Timeline have been separated from those of the Cinematic Timeline because they are no longer considered canon due to the new Terminator movie Terminator: Dark Fate disregarding them. Before the announcement of the new movie the events depicted in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and Terminator Salvation were considered a continuation of the events of the Cinematic Timeline (The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day), and as such the dates and events of the Post-Cinematic Timeline continue on immediately after the events of the Cinematic Timeline.
After the Death of Miles Bennett Dyson Cyberdyne Systems' development in the feild of AI was delayed, as a result Cyberdyne Syatems was purchased by the USAF, with Skynet coming online in 2004. Narrowly escaping termination from a T-X sent back in time from 2033 John Connor and Kate Brewster managed to survive Judgment Day on July 24th. 14 years later John and Marcus, a Human/Terminator hybrid rescued Kyle Reese and destroyed a Skynet base being used to develop T-800 Terminators 10 years ahead of time, because of unforeseen changes in the timeline.

A series X Terminator arrived via a chrono-sphere at Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, California. Shortly afterward a series 850, Cyberdyne Systems model 101 "Terminator" Infiltrator Unit arrived via another chrono-sphere in the Californian Desert. After terminating some of the Human Resistances' future lieutenants the T-X located John Connor and Kate Brewster at the Emery Animal Hospital. Following a high-speed pursuit, and a shootout at the Green Lawns Cemetery John and Kate sought protection with the T-850. Realizing her father, Robert Brewster's life was at risk Kate ordered the T-850 to help her, but they arrived as Skynet instigated Judgment Day. In his dying moments, Brewster sent John and Kate to the Crystal Peak nuclear fallout bunker in the Sierra Nevada Mountains to ensure their survival.

Skynet launched pre-emptive nuclear attacks against the worlds leading military powers, which combined with the inevitable retaliatory nuclear attacks resulted in the death of 3 billion human lives and blanketed most of the developed world in nuclear fallout - Judgment Day.

Skynet initiated a thermonuclear self-destruct of the VLA R&D facility killing a Human Resistance team led by General Olsen, who had discovered Skynet's work into a T-800 Prototype (10 years before Reese, in 1984, had claimed the unit was produced). John Connor and Marcus Wright were the only survivors. Later aboard the USS Wilmington, the submarine base of the Human Resistance, John was given Skynet's "control signal", informed by General Hugh Ashdown of Skynet's "kill list" and was notified that the Resistance would attack Skynet Central, San Francisco in four days (May 25th).

In Los Angeles, Kyle Reese and Star saved Marcus from an attack from a T-600, before narrowly escaping detection from an Aerial Hunter-Killer (H-K) Unit. Later Marcus taught Kyle how to "shoulder" a shotgun with a piece of string before fixing a radio, whereupon they picked a broadcast from John Connor, whom earlier had successfully tested Skynet's control signal on an Aquatic Hydrobot Unit.

After acquiring a jeep from the Griffin Observatory Marcus, Reese, and Star were identified by an Aerostat drone. They later discovered a refugee hideout before it was besieged by an H-K Harvester which, after a high-speed pursuit successfully captured all of the refugees, Reese and Star, stowing them aboard an H-K Transport. Alone, Marcus grouped up with Blair Williams, a Resistance pilot shot down during the attack, after saving her from a group of bandits. Elsewhere, John and Barnes successfully tested Skynets Control Signal on an Aerial H-K Unit.

Transported to Skynet Central where the refugees were processed, Reese was identified and separated from Star and the refugees. Blair escorted Marcus to John's Tech-Comm base, whereupon Marcus was revealed to be an unknown model of Terminator. Despite this Blair helped Marcus escape, and after he saved John the two made a truce in a bid to rescue Reese from Skynet Central.

After using his radio broadcast to call for the Resistance to ignore Ashdown's orders to attack Skynet Central, and with Marcus' help John infiltrated Skynet Central. Skynet, using its T-800 RIP (Resistance Infiltrator Prototype) attempted to kill John, but the Terminator was defeated by Marcus, but not before the Terminator had fatally wounded John. Having rescued Reese, Star, and the refugees John and Marcus evacuated Skynet Central before destroying the facility.
